The purpose of the position
Supports the Centre Manger and Tutors/Assessors to deliver on our contractual obligations and supports clients and learners with Information, Advice and Guidance. The job holder will need to understand and co-ordinate the referral process and to ensure students are allocated onto an appropriate training programme in a timely manner. The job holder will ensure that the information is recorded onto our CRM and internal databases.
Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Monitoring visitor access and maintain security awareness
- Providing correct Information and Guidance to ensure that telephone and walk in enquiries are dealt with promptly and appropriately.
- Answering the telephone, screening, and directing calls and relaying messages
- Ensure that referral partners are made of aware of our products and up coming training courses
- Ensure that electronic, telephone and walk in referrals are processed in accordance with our procedures.
- Updating and maintaining our internal CRM and data bases to ensure that KPI information is recorded appropriately.
- Support with tracking certificates (where applicable) and ensuring that they are received in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation and organising of promotional material or events
- Support with the delivery of the CSCS programme.
- To actively participate in team meetings, reviews, and relevant training and development
- Supporting the Centre Manager with auditing, administrations, report writing, financing and budgeting of the project.
- To carry out any other duties that are within the employee’s skills and abilities wherever reasonably instructed
Desired Skills and Experience
- Working experience of planning and implementing administrative systems to ensure an organisation and efficiency
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently if required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
Qualifications
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths or equivalent
- NVQ in Administration or willingness to work towards
