NVQs

Overview

National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) allow learners to specialise in a specific field, to improve their competency and effectiveness in a role. We offer NVQs from Level 2 to Level 7 that provide learners with the opportunity to develop skills for progression, or expand on expertise in a managerial role.

Why do I need an NVQ?

Industry Accreditation (Grandfather Rights) are coming to an end. To maintain your CSCS card, which proves your competency for a particular job to your employer as well as industry regulators, you will now need a corresponding qualification. The purpose of this change is to improve safety and standardise competency across the construction industry. Learn more in our article Grandfather Rights are ending - are you ready?

Level 2 NVQs

Level 2 NVQs offer the opportunity to build on the skills and knowledge required for a sustainable career in construction.

Level 3 to Level 7 NVQs

L3-7 NVQs are developmental qualifications, designed to expand on the knowledge of those holding supervisory or managerial positions in construction.
