Supporting Learners into Careers in Sustainable Construction

We've partnered with recruitment and social value specialists GoodPeople, to support individuals into real, lasting employment in the Sustainable Construction sector. Through the Net Zero Careers Accelerator programme, we're strengthening the link between training and employment, making it easier for learners to find opportunities, and for employers to find motivated, job-ready candidates. 

For Learners 

As you complete your construction training with us, a member of the GoodPeople team may contact you to help take the next step into construction jobs. 

With GoodPeople, you'll get:

• Interview prep and confidence building
• Direct links to employers offering jobs, apprenticeships, or placements 

This free support is designed to help you succeed whether you're ready to start or just exploring options. 

You don't need to do anything. GoodPeople will introduce themselves at the centre during your training, or ask your tutor for details. 

For Employers 

Finding skilled, motivated people in construction isn't always easy. That's why we partner with GoodPeople. 

Our learners complete accredited construction and practical skills training at The Skills Centre, arriving ready to work. GoodPeople adds extra support, from CV writing and interview coaching to matching candidates with the right roles.
