Your pathway to an apprenticeship in construction.

This programme is part-funded by the Adult Education Budget (AEB) to support learners with complex barriers to education and employment to access opportunities in the construction sector.

Who is the course for?

Our pre-employment course is a fantastic way of gaining the skills and qualifications you need to start a career in construction.

Our centre is based in Buckinghamshire, in the heart of the HS2 project, and is run in collaboration with EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall) and the labour desk agencies. This course will see you not only learn new skills in the classroom but also place you right amongst the action on a construction site, working alongside a workforce that will provide you with a true insight into the world of construction.

Following this, you'll take part in an assessment day with the labour desk, made up of: Danny Sullivan, VGC, McGinley, Carmichael, Reliable and Venesky Brown who will be offering full time apprenticeships to successful candidates.

Candidates must be over the age of 18, unemployed, or economically inactive and not currently holding a CSCS card.

If you already have site experience, and have your CSCS card, you can apply for groundwork apprenticeships directly via EKFB here.

How is the course delivered?
