How we build matters!
To meet the challenge of the transition to net-zero, new buildings must be well insulated and made with sustainable materials to reduce the impact of waste and energy consumption on the environment.
This 1-week taster course will focus on sustainable working practices within the construction sector including new technologies, waste management, and recycling.
Participants will receive industry insight talks around key areas of the low-carbon economy and the opportunity to apply for jobs and apprenticeships on the Holloway Prison site being developed by London Square and Peabody Housing Association.
