Digital Marketing Manager (Maternity cover - Contract 6 months to 1 Year)

We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to lead website development, drive digital campaigns, and deliver cross-channel marketing projects in this key contract role.

Location: Cardiff – Travel will be required to our London and Birmingham Centres on a frequent basis

Reporting to: Deputy Managing Director / Head of Marketing

Principal Contacts: Centre Directors, Leadership Team, Internal and External Stakeholders, Marketing Team  

The purpose of the position:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute digital initiatives across various marketing channels. This contract role is ideal for an experienced digital marketing professional with a strong background in managing new website development, overseeing digital campaigns, and leading on other cross-functional marketing initiatives.

Principle duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage digital marketing projects from strategy to execution
  • Oversee website development, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals
  • Manage email marketing including automation, template management and regular communications with stakeholders
  • Support planning and execution of marketing events (these maybe virtual and in-person)
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of campaigns  
  • Managing use of external agencies  
  • Support and advise on business-as-usual marketing activities  
  • Track and report on performance metrics, using available insights  

Qualifications and experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, with proven success in project leadership
  • Experience of managing new website development to launch  
  • Strong understanding of broader marketing strategy and delivery, including activity around brand, content, and events
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, CRM, social media platforms)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading on initiatives for and working closely with senior internal stakeholders
