It's important that you comply with the law and know the ways in which it affects you and the way you work.

As a leading provider of HR Compliance eLearning, our experts are often asked about the GDPR. We've collected some of those questions and answered them for you here...

When did the GDPR come into effect?

The GDPR was approved and adopted by the EU Parliament in April 2016. After 2 years, the regulation took effect and the GDPR came into force on 25th May 2018.

What is personal data?

Benefits to Your Business

The GDPR is an important piece of legislation which requires organisations to be transparent with the use of their data, as well as upholding people's rights by keeping it protected and secure.

To comply with the Regulation, all relevant members of staff must be made aware of their roles and responsibilities.

However, training doesn’t end there. It's crucial for this information to remain in the mind of your employees, so that you can practice correct GDPR procedures. This will allow your organisation to stay compliant whilst avoiding data breaches that could cost your reputation and a huge fine.

This refresher course is perfect for keeping the topic of GDPR fresh in your memory. Designed for people who have already taken GDPR training, it serves as a convenient reminder of the essential information in the shortest possible time.
